what keeps me going
Yucky blah blah blah... it's not pretty around here. My attitude, my body, my motivation, the weather... not great combinations. There are a couple of things that are saving me:
1. To Kill A Mockingbird :: I am re-reading this slowly. I want to catch everything. I am in love with this girl Scout. She is everything I could have been as a child if I'd had an older brother to corral my confidence. Harper Lee is brilliant and may earn herself a child named after her if I have my way.
2. Starbursts
3. Everything on this website. I go here daily and pretend I'm ordering. Today, I'd like the sleeping bag in cowboy print. Thank you.
3. The HDTV commercial with the woman in a suit and heels jogging... I tried to find a YouTube of it, but no luck. Do you know what I'm talking about? She runs up to a stranger and starts talking about her new service... and then she pauses and yells, "I'm puuuumped!" Oh my word. I wait every night for a viewing of this commercial and I gutlaugh every time. It's so completely my favorite thing right now.
Since I couldn't find that clip, I'll leave you with my Beauty... who is the best thing goin' these days:

Oh the weather is enough for things not to be pretty at all! Everyone I talk to is so ready for spring!
I know what you mean about commercials, there are some I just wait for them to come on, I guess it doesn't take much to make us happy does it? LOL

We had a very good dog named Scout once upon a time. All dogs are good, of course, but you know how some will just go down in history as GOOD DOGS? That was Scout. Linus will have a place right next to him.
Anyway, Starburst are grand, but I'm on a Tropical Flavor Mike and Ike kick right now. The Mango is to die for.
I am bookmarking that website, because one day I JUST KNOW it will become handy. Right up my alley.
I'm generally easily annoyed at, oh, everyone lately as well. Hunker down with Starbursts and a fire, and we'll talk again Monday.

I love Harper Lee too. Especially her creation of Atticus Finch. I am in love with Atticus Finch. Anytime, Blake and I are in an argument, I say, "Atticus wouldn't have done that!" It's kinda like-a "What Would Atticus Do?" I use Atticus. He is my weapon. And I love him for it :)

I can't relate to the Starbursts. Me? I was strictly a Van de Camp's fishstick girl during those tough winter I-feel-carsick-all-day months. Wait. . I just had Van de Camp's with tartar for lunch yesterday. Panic, panic, panic. .

even though Rylie Jayne has seen this a thousand times already she always ask for "one mow" and the second time she point and says "dat mom".
Oh my word... you're totally right. Ikea and Trader Joe's. I forgot. They were fabulous and extremely successful. Though I doubt the East Side's ability to drive safely, it was a grand trip. I'll take photos once my camera recharges.
And now I seriously want fish sticks. That sounds so good to me.

i LOVE the name scout! there was a little girl at camp named scout and she was a cutie. chris vetoed that one last time...but i havent given up! our good friends just named their son Harper. it's a good name!!
it's funny - when you said starburst i totally pictured stars bursting. i was thinking how random that was to have on your list...looks like i'm the random one.
What's this about east side drivers?
I'm all for my next niece/nephew being named Scout. However, as uncle, I reserve the right to tell them that they were named after my Scout... kinda like Indiana Jones.

Love the tub video- that Rylie is too cute. What a little bathing beauty she is, huh? It's funny because I just posted a video of Zane in the tub. Great minds think alike, I guess.
Oh man having a first trimester in January...it's so hard not to get down,but the good days that will come will be all the better in comparrison to the bad ones! I feel like I wrote a very similar post that included sonic the hedgehog as help for me in my bluesey days as a preggers gal! I'm glad you found starbursts I liked the mixed berry icebreakers and ate tins and tins of them. Rylie is the cutest EVER!!!!
I also had bathtub pics this week. Wild. I love, love, love, "To Kill a Mockingbird" and think Harper would be a beautiful name for either a boy or a girl. Rylie is simply too cute for words! Hang in there with the pregnancy sickness. It will eventually pass.
