To whom it may concern,

To whom it may concern,

Katie has gone on a road trip for the day.
She got up early, put on real clothes, and went out into the real world.
She would appreciate your positive thoughts in the following areas:
not eating anything before purchase at Traders Joe's,
not falling asleep in any of the Ikea displays,
and not yelling at people to walk on the right side of the aisles.
Please, Lord, let her be a decent human being today in public.
Regularly scheduled blog-programming will resume on Thursday,
Love,
Me

Road trip! Road trip! Road trip!

Actually, I wouldn't have a problem taking a nap in IKEA. . those Swedish Meatballs can really set you back a bit.

Have fun, I love road trips!! What about when people step in front of you when you are looking at something and do not say, "excuse me", huge pet peeve with me!!

Speaking of pet peeves: how about the woman in the elevator this morning at Nordstrom cursing in front of my child. Then, when I had given her my very best evil eye as I swept my three year old out the doors as soon as they opened, she said, "Did you see the way that woman looked at me?"

Well, yes, dear, I did. Oh, and by the way, did you happen to hear what you yourself talking?

Scheesh! Ok. Well, that's off my shoulders now. Hope you had an excellent day at both of those excellent places.

i heart trader joes!
unfortunately there arent any nearby...
that is one of the things i miss about southern california...

hope you got lots of good stuff

incidentally, the names of the stuff at ikea are pretty silly when you find out what they really mean in swedish.
